A man in Chak Jhumra has been arrested by police for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs200,000 to avoid identifying robbery suspects during an official police lineup.

According to the police report, the complainant in the robbery case, Azmat Ali, failed to appear during the scheduled identification proceedings. This absence raised concerns among investigators, prompting a deeper inquiry into his actions.

Subsequent investigation revealed that Azmat Ali had allegedly been in contact with the robbery suspects and entered into a monetary agreement with them. Police officials state that he accepted a bribe amounting to Rs200,000 in return for intentionally not participating in the identification process.
