Pakistan, Oman Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Ties in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, Omani Ambassador Fahad Sulaiman Khalaf Alkharusi met with President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday at Aiwan-e-Sadr, where both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Oman.

The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation in various fields, including trade, investment, and diplomatic engagement. Both Pakistan and Oman expressed interest in deepening their longstanding relationship, which is rooted in shared religion, culture, and historical ties.

During the discussion, President Zardari highlighted the importance of fostering closer collaboration between the two countries, particularly through increased high-level visits and regular dialogue.
