Lakki Marwat, Pakistan – A man and his wife were shot dead in Lakki Marwat on Friday, prompting a police investigation to identify and apprehend the assailants. The deadly incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station, adding to recent concerns over rising incidents of armed violence in the region.

According to police officials, the victims were targeted by unidentified gunmen while travelling near their home in a rural area of Lakki Marwat. Initial reports suggest that the attackers opened fire without warning, killing both husband and wife on the spot.
