In a determined push to strengthen security and deter criminal activity, the Karak Police, in close coordination with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), carried out a planned search and strike operation across the mountainous areas and outskirts of Aman Kot and Teri. The joint action underscores law enforcement’s continued resolve to safeguard citizens and maintain peace, even in remote and hard-to-access regions.

Led by senior officers from both Karak Police and the CTD, the operation zeroed in on zones known for their challenging terrain and limited oversight, which have historically posed difficulties for routine monitoring. These areas, often exploited by criminal elements seeking to evade detection, were subject to an intensive security sweep aimed at disrupting any potential threats.

The joint task force executed house-to-house searches and roadside checks, combining methodical fieldwork with intelligence-based targeting. Officials stated the operation was guided by credible information pointing to the possible presence of individuals involved in unlawful activities. While no arrests were reported, authorities stressed that preventive operations of this nature are essential for reinforcing the rule of law and deterring those who may attempt to undermine local stability.

“The mission is straightforward eliminate any factors that jeopardize public safety,” said a senior security official involved in the operation. He added that the visibility of law enforcement in such operations acts as a strong deterrent against future illicit activity.

The Karak Police and CTD also reiterated their commitment to sustained cooperation, emphasizing that security in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s more isolated areas depends on consistent enforcement measures.
