On July 26, 2025, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to fostering a secure and prosperous regional environment through cooperation with allied nations. The statement was made during the Regional Chiefs of Defence Staff Conference held in Islamabad, where military leaders from the United States, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan convened to discuss regional security challenges.
